The Ligne Roset Ploum sofa is the result of extensive research into comfort. The team behind the Ligne Roset Ploum collection, set out to find a combination of materials that would offer an extremely high level of comfort.

After testing a variety of different combinations, they settled on two specific materials that met their criteria. The first is a type of foam that conforms to the body and quickly returns to its original shape after being sat on. The second material is a layer of air-filled pockets that provide additional support and prevent the body from sinking into the sofa. Together, these two materials provide a level of comfort that is unlike anything else on the market. The Ploum sofa is designed to be used in a variety of ways, which means it offers a level of versatility that other sofas simply cannot match.

Erwan and Ronan Bouroullec’s Ligne Roset sofa Ploum is asymmetrically designed: the right-hand backrest is higher than the left, the right-hand seat is deeper than the left, and the zip on the rear of the backrest is off-centre.
